Back then conservation was still thought of as dull and boring although now it seems to be the 'in' word which is course fantastic, but I wanted to experiment with music and dance in a positive way.
Not only does this project cover the so called boring issue of conservation in a most exciting and entertaining way, but photographically it will be visually stunning. The diversity of cultures will bring the most dazzling array of colours, costumes, rhythms, cultures not to mention the incredible diversity of landscapes and animals it is being produced in aid of.
Having a exciting and stimulating visuals, a catchy tune and a creative learning, educational tool all rolled into one lovely package.

The end result, a song/pop video that can be played in all the bars, cafes where the locals hang out, sing along and take notice as they either will be in it, or their children, nephews, nieces, brothers, aunts and cousins etc!
The idea originated when I was working in Indonesia and came across some amazing children who had written a 'turtle' song. Accompanied with a dance, they had also made incredible costumes. All to help raise money and create awareness for the turtles in Bali!
I decided then it would be great to capture on film and sell the video to tourists to raise more money for the turtles campaign.
